This year the Tour ended in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl so we rode over
to see the final laps. What a great day (if you forget the rain).
We met some very nice people but the best were Mike and Katy who
saved us when the loaned us an umbrella so that we did not get too
wet watching the final laps. The riders brought the rain with them
for the last 15 miles or so .
So here is a selection of pictures that we were able to get with out
destroying the camera in the rain.

As close as we will ever get to the finishing line .
The two bikes are around $20,000 total. MA is
standing by the time trial bike. I doubt we could keep
it upright. I'm next to the standard racing bike for
the tour. It is not too far away from what we ride.
