After Sulphur High School, It was
McNeese for three years....Then I was
accepted for dental school at Loyola
University in New Orleans..Graduated
in 1964.....Went on
active duty in Army for two
years...One year in Ft. Wolters,
Texas...The other year at Camn Rahn
Bay, Vietnam..Set up my practice in
Leesville in 1966...Met a cute girl
named Rose and we were married and
proceeded to start a family. We had
five sons and two daughters. I am
very proud of their
accomplishments....Two sons are in
Iraq right now. My wish is that they
come home safely. As the children
were growing up we sure had a lot
happening all at once....Every meal
and every outing had to go like
clockwork. I do not understand how
my wife did what she did. She was a
very good Mom. My job was to get
breakfast ready.....while Rose got
some extra sleep, Quite a
production! It took a gallon of milk, a
gallon of orange juice. two dozen
eggs, twenty-five pancakes and a
quart of syrup. Looking back I think
I`ve enjoyed that part of my life the
best...It all goes by so quickly. We
were married 32 years and then she
asked for a divorce. I guess she
wanted some alone time..Anyway it
has taken about five years of living
alone and I`ve finally gotten used to it.
I see Rose from time to time at family
functions.....birthdays,etc and she
seems that she is doing ok. I have a
bunch of descendents. They are cute
little rascals. It is fun playing with
them.
