Each year for the last 12 years, Rancho Sisquoc
Winery has hosted an afternoon at the winery for wine
club members. It includes a trip up to the vineyards,
wine tasting and lunch. This year we were very lucky
to have both family and friends at the event. Scott
and Laurie flew down from Seattle, Katherine and her
friend Roger Smith, Nick Warner and Lisa Novick ( our
friends across the street) all attended. Scott and
Laurie arrived on Friday night. We had a shrimp boil
for them, the twins, Katherine and us. The twins made a
beautiful tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, olive oil, and
fresh basil salad. Saturday morning we all headed up
to the Santa Barbara wine region for the event. Scott
and Laurie stayed with us at Tres Hermanas. A great
week end in a beautiful area.
