I went into the USMC in Jan. 58 for 4yrs. stationed at
Camp Pendleton, CA, Okinawa, Albany, GA.
I could not find work in LA so I moved to Los
Angeles and worked for my father in law in
construction. I worked for Chrysler on the assembly
line, worst job in world. Next I worked for a propane
company for 11 yrs. I quit that and bought a dump
truck and trailers and was owner operator for 23 yrs.
I did most of my own repair and maintenance. I
retired in 2001.
My daughter is married to a Buck Knife employee
and he was transferred to Idaho. My wife likes cold
and snow so we moved to Idaho.
I lived in Los Angeles area for 15 years, Lake Tahoe
for 1 yr. then San Diego for 27 years. I have lived in
Coeur d'Alene ID for 1 and half years now. I go back
to Sulphur whenever I can. Both my brothers and a
sister live there still.
