Mary Lee and Butch started going steady their senior year
in high school and got married when he graduated from
McNeese.  Butch went to work for the Internal Revenue
Service in New Orleans. After a short stint in Lafayette,
they moved to Washington, D.C. in 1964 where he worked
in the IRS National Office.   They stayed in the Washington
area, raised their two children, Pete and Joey, and Butch
became Director of the IRS Office of International
Programs.  Mary Lee worked in the Manassas City School
system.  In 1988 Butch accepted a position as Attaché in
the U.S. Embassy, Nassau, Bahamas, representing the
IRS/Treasury Department interest in the Caribbean.  Mary
Lee became the Community Liaison Officer in the
Embassy, and then the Assistant to the Naval Attaché.  
They stayed in Nassau until Butch retired in 1995.  They
then moved back to their home in Manassas, Virginia for
about a year, and then purchased a home in Greenville,
North Carolina at the Brook Valley Country Club.  Now
Butch plays golf and Mary Lee volunteers at the hospital
while enjoying the fruits of their labors which includes 6
grandchildren.
